Friends, after 6 years and countless shows far and wide, it is with mixed feelings that we tell you that Riviera will no longer be playing live shows. We've had great times traveling the country meeting many of you and playing with other bands we admire and respect. From opening for Jeff Tweedy at the Vic in Chicago, to opening for Jay Farrar in Des Moines. From the CD releases and GLONO shows with our labelmates Quasar Wut Wut, to getting run out of town after Mick unplugged the gear of a particularly bad comedy-musical group.it's been a blast. But all good things must come to an end and interest in our live shows has waned. It's no longer financially feasible nor emotionally rewarding to lug our asses (not to mention our gear) from club to club in the hopes that 20 people show up. We do have a batch of new material that we love and will record in the coming months for a web-only release. After that, who knows.?

Birthday Show at the Hideout
Joshua, Derek and Mick all have June birthdays within a week of each other and every year we have a show to celebrate. This year's show will again be at the Hideout. Minneapolis rockers the Slats join us.
